Type of Safari: Adventure accommodated safari
Accommodation: During 6 nights of your safari, you will stay in
mid-range Lodges, Chalets and Tented Lodges. Accommodation is situated either
in National Parks, on the banks of a river, or in other places of interest.
Most accommodation options have a private bathroom with a shower and toilet,
whilst others have shared ablutions available. Some properties are equipped
with swimming pools and/or bar areas.

Included in the price: Accommodation is on full board basis on safari
and bed and breakfast in Nairobi. Transport in 7-seater minibuses (all seats
with window views), game drives, park entrance fees for clients, drivers and
vehicles. Bottled water on road safaris in the vehicle.
Not included in the price: Beverages, tips and porterage, all domestic and
international flights, airport taxes, visas, insurance. Items of personal
nature such as laundry, telephone calls, faxes and anything that is not
mentioned on the above itinerary. Optional Hot Air Balloon Safari on day 3 (US$

Day 1: Nairobi
Upon
arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport – Nairobi, you will be welcomed
and assisted for your transfer to your hotel in Nairobi.
Rest of the day at leisure.
Accommodation: Safari Park Hotel. (Rooms with en- suite bathrooms, private
balconies, safe and mini-bar. Hotel with swimming pool, gym, spa, bars &
restaurants)
Day 2: Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast we depart Nairobi towards the fertile highlands, heading down
the Rift Escarpment. We cross through the Valley to Narok, passing fields of
wheat and barley, before reaching the Masai Mara in time for lunch. Enjoy an
afternoon game drive before returning to the lodge for sundown and dinner.

Accommodation: Mara Sopa Lodge (Built into the hillside landscape with
beautiful views, the hotel offers spacious en-suite rooms and balcony, swimming
pool, and bars and restaurant.
Day 3: Masai Mara National Reserve
Morning and afternoon game drives in this spectacular game reserve, all with
superb photographic opportunities. Blessed with a permanent water supply, Masai
Mara has a permanent population of plain’s game. The “big five” – elephant,
buffalo, lion, leopard and rhino are quite common. Today you may opt for an
early morning balloon excursion to experience the panoramic Mara from a
birds-eye view (optional and not included in the price). [BLD]

Day 4: Lake Nakuru
Departing the Mara after breakfast, you will head north towards Narok, and then
travel across the vast plains on the floor of the Rift Valley, watching for
herds of gazelle and giraffe as you head up the Mau Escarpment, arriving to our
lodge in time for lunch.
Lake Nakuru National Park is best known for its flamingos, yet is also home
to many animals including waterbuck, leopards and Rothschild giraffe. The park
is also a sanctuary for black rhinos. Afternoon game drive. [BLD]
Accommodation: Lake Nakuru Lodge (Situated in the heart of a unique wetland
ecosystem, the lodge offers views of Lake Nakuru National Park in rooms with
en-suite bathrooms, plus Lodge bar & restaurant).
Day 5: Amboseli National Park
Leaving
the Rift Valley behind us, we continue towards Nairobi and then head south to
Amboseli where we enjoy a picnic lunch followed by an afternoon game drive in
the park, enroute to Amboseli Sopa Lodge, arriving in the evening. [BLD]
Accommodation: Amboseli Sopa Lodge (Set on the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro,
the lodge offers en-suite rooms with their own private veranda with incredible
views, plus several bars, restaurant, swimming pool and TV lounge.
Day 6: Amboseli National Park
Enjoy
a full day of game drives in this spectacular game reserve, with a hot picnic
lunch, returning to the lodge in the late afternoon. [BLD]

Day 7: Depart for Nairobi
Enjoy
your last views of the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro as we depart for Nairobi to arrive approximately by midday, in order for you to catch your onward flight.
