Eco Tours is a ready and willing partner in your fundraising activities. Our Mount Kilimanjaro Trek offers participants the opportunity to help support the organization or charity of their choice and to hike one of the most beautiful mountains and prestigious climbs in the world.

Committing your time and money to a fundraiser will help ensure that your goals of providing for the most basic needs of the people of Africa are effectively met. Further, you will also be helping to give those who need the most, and the local partner organizations who work with them, the skills necessary to become change-agents in their own communities.

Currently there is an overwhelming variety of basic needs in East Africa. These range from food and a clean water supply, to education, healthcare and child care. Our partner organizations endeavor to maintain sustainablable solutions by improving the areas that reflect the need. The money raised through the 2012 trek will be used to assist with the basic needs of projects we are supporting such as schools and orphanages in and around Moshi. Money from this year’s trek may also be used to fund events for local youth and partner organizations, with a focus of teaching leadership skills, instilling confidence, and inspiring change.

After hiking Mount Kilimanjaro, participants will return to Moshi where, as part of their two project days, they will tour local projects to meet the people their funds have assisted.
